Do you know about Yehovaw's hope, He being the holy, almighty, eternal and self-existent Creator and Lord God over all the universe?

Welcome to the page on which Pastor Floyd talks about

Yehovaw's Hope

The full title of this page, "32421350 Yehovaw's Hope", includes its catalog number, which shows where I have placed it among the many fascinating topics I have arranged in the Table of Contents of this website's amazing Vault!

As for "Yehovaw's Hope", Yehovaw inspired His psalmist to write:

8I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand! I shall not be moved! 9Therefore my heart is glad! And my glory rejoiceth! My flesh also shall rest in hope! (Psalm 16:8 and 9)

Is it not interesting that the psalmist's heart was glad and that his glory rejoiced, while his flesh rested in hope?

And what is the basis for that gladness and restful hope?

Yehovaw said

that He is at the psalmist's "right hand" (Psalm 16:8),

that He will not permit the psalmist to "be moved" (Psalm 16:8),

that the psalmist's heart "therefore ... is glad" (Psalm 16:8) and

that the psalmist's "glory rejoiceth"! (Psalm 16:8)

Yehovaw's assurance of hope can be found in other of His psalms; He wrote, through His psalmist:

18Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them who fear Him, upon them who hope in His mercy, 19to deliver their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine! (Psalm 33:18 and 19)

My soul fainteth for thy salvation! But I hope in thy word! (Psalm 119:81)

Truly, Yehovaw's word is the source of one's hope in Him; and that hope brings rest to him or her; he said, through Yeshuaw:

Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me! For I am meek and lowly in heart! And ye shall find rest unto your souls! For my yoke is easy! And my burden is light! (Matthew 11:29 and 30)

One's soul is not at rest when his or her heart is full of Satan's tormenting lies, his deadly words of despair and hopelessness! Yehovaw wrote, through Solomon:

Hope deferred maketh the heart sick! But, when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life! (Proverbs 13:12)

Please notice that, when one's hope is deferred, the heart becomes sick; the "desire" (Proverbs 13:12) may not yet have come, but, so long as the hope is there, deferred or not, the heart can continue rejoicing exactly as though the desire had come; Yehovaw said, through Yeshuaw:

What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them; and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:24)

Please notice that the moment of the prayer's being said, is the time that Yehovaw commands his child to "believe that ye receive"! (Mark 11:24) If one truly believes that he or she has received the answer to his or her prayer, he or she will rejoice in that belief, which faith is the basis upon which Yehovaw can promise that "ye shall have them"! (Verse 24) He will not move to fulfill the prayer of one who will not so believe! So we find that faith is an essential state of mind for one to walk in the joy of hope! Yehovaw wrote, through His Prophet:

The grave cannot praise thee; death can not celebrate thee; they who go down into the pit cannot hope for Thy truth! (Isaiah 38:18)

So faithlessness, which accompanies hopelessness, is the essence of death!

Yehovaw wrote, through his apostle Paul, that we "rejoice in hope of the glory of God"! (Romans 5:2) Later, Yehovaw declared, through Paul, that even "we are saved by hope". (Romans 8:24)

Of necessity there are many references to hope throughout Yehovaw's holy scriptures; but the following single scripture is the only one I have found thus far showing how Yehovaw's gift of hope relies upon His testimony or covenant with the house of Israel! (Jeremiah 31:31)

Psalm 78:5 and 7 Hope in God

That they might set their hope in God (Psalm 78:7),

He established a testimony, in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers! (Psalm 78:5)

Yehovaw's toraw or law is the covenant of commandments and promises or judgments by which Yehovaw's childlren can "set their hope in God"! (Psalm 78:7) If He has given a promise or a judgment, His word is His bond! Yehovaw said, through a false prophet:

God is not a man, that He should lie; neither the son of man, that He should repent! Hath He said; and shall He not do it? Or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19)

So truth also is a factor in hope; one cannot rejoice in an hope based upon what he or she knows is false!

Amen! Alleluia!

The most hopeful word of all is Yehovaw's "Gospel of the Kingdom of God"! (Mark 1:14) So I have written a free ebooklet entitled "32320000 Yehovaw's Gospel", which begins with His experience with Adam and Eve and which you can order by merely asking for it, using the email address given below and including the title and catalog number of this page!
