Do you know about the righteousness of Yehovaw by which to enter into His kingdom?

Welcome to the page on which Pastor Floyd talks about

Yehovaw's righteousness!

The full title of this page, "31312000 Yehovaw's Righteousness", includes its catalog number, which shows where I have placed it among the many fascinating topics I have arranged in the Table of Contents of this website's amazing Vault!

As for "Yehovaw's Righteousness" or the rightness of His being, He is willing to regard His children as being right as well!

Yehovaw said, through Moses:

It shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He Hath commanded us. (Deuteronomy 6:25)

Compare this statement with one that Yehovaw would make later through Moses:

1It shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all His commandments, which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the Earth! 2And all these blessings shall come on thee and overtake thee. (Deuteronomy 28:1 and 2)

By observing to do all the commandments of Yehovaw's toraw or law, one is regarded by Him to have "our righteousness" (Deuteronomy 6:25) and have "all these blessings ... come on thee and overtake thee". (Deuteronomy 28:2) So these two rewards appear to be, simply, two ways of looking at the same reward for one's keeping or putting the highest possible value on those commandments!

The words "keep" and "observe" both mean to guard! (Strong: Hebrew: 8104) We guard that on which we put value! And Yehovaw commanded His children to love Him "with all thine heart, with all thy soul and with all thy might"! (Deuteronomy 6:5)

So keeping or putting the highest possible value on Yehovaw's commandments is the most appropriate way in which one can love Him, for which He rewards the faithful by regarding him or her as having "righteousness" (Deuteronomy 6:25) and by causing "all these blessings" to "come on thee and overtake thee". (Deuteronomy 28:2)

Yehovaw brought yet another importance to one's having righteousness, by saying to His prophet:

20When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness and commit iniquity and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die! ... 21Nevertheless, if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live! (Ezekiel 3:20 and 21)

Understanding a child's living or dying is learned by what Yehovaw said through Yehoshua:

Except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of Heaven! (Matthew 5:20)

Yehovaw's problem with "the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees" (Matthew 5:20) was their teaching His toraw or law as from "Moses's seat" (Matthew 23:2) but then not doing what they were teaching! Their thus being "hypocrites" (Verse 13) made their presumed "righteousness" a mockery of what Yehovaw has wanted from His children, which barred them and anyone behaving similarly from "the kingdom of Heaven"! (Matthew 5:20)

The good news is that Yehovaw's righteousness does indeed relate to one's entering "into the kingdom of Heaven", which place Adam and Eve lost, when they disobeyed Yehovaw in the Garden of Eden!

Amen! Alleluia!
