As for "Yehovaw's Sanctification", in Yehovaw's Old Testament the Word "sanctify" is a King James translation of a word meaning "to be clean", and is also translated "appoint, consecrate, dedicate, hallow, be holy, keep, prepare, proclaim, purify"! (Strong: Hebrew: 6942)

I like to explain Yehovaw's sanctification as meaning "cleansed for a special purpose", like taking a bath to go to a party!

One can find Yehovaw's use of the word "sanctify" in both His Old and New Testaments; He wrote, through His recorder:

Speak thou unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily My sabbaths ye shall keep! For it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that ye may know that I am the Lord who doth sanctify you. (Exodus 31:13)

Yeshuaw prayed, to Yehovaw the Father:

For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth! (John 17:19)

From the Old Testament quotation one learns that sanctification is something done by Yehovaw to His children! From the New Testament quotation one learns what He means by "sanctify"; it is His cleansing of His children's hearts by giving them the truth by which to overcome Satan's lies! Yehovaw wrote, through His apostle Paul:

²⁵Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, ²⁶that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷that he might present it to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing but that it should be holy and without blemish! (Ephesians 5:25 to 27)

Yeshuaw's giving Himself for "the church" (Ephesians 5:25) was to "sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word"! (Verse 26) And He Himself said that His sanctifying or giving of Himself was "that they also might be sanctified through the truth"! (John 17:19) He said, to Pilate, the Roman governor who would give the order that He be crucified:

To this end was I born and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth! (John 18:37)

To understand what that truth was and is, which leads to one's being "glorious ... holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:25 to 27), one must go clear back to Yehovaw's record of how He dealt with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden!
