As for "Yehovaw's Sex", is He male or female? Some women try to say that He is a Mother rather than a Father; but I submit that He is both, which explains why we, as children made in His image, can be one or the other!

People throughout the world recognize sex as the extraordinarily powerful source of pleasure that drives all living creatures to procreate their own kind!

Being so overwhelmingly pleasurable, sex also drives people to do desperate things to obtain the experience of it.

This fact of human life was made abundantly evident, to me, by the virtually complete preoccupation with sex that I found among "The 1000 Most Frequently Used Searchphrases" on the internet, as shown by "Wordtracker", a service provided by Rivergold Associates Ltd.

Within those 1000 searchphrases I found 50 that were sexually oriented and 31 others that implied sex without actually being specifically so oriented, my having ignored some 150 others that were either lewd or grossly immoral! And according to that fascinating report, those 230 or so sexually oriented searchphrases were the total preoccupation of the 1000 most popular searches involving the personal interests of the people doing the searching!

Interest of some kind was, of course, involved with the other searches reported by WordTracker in the top 1000; but they were of a specific and ordinary nature that did not suggest a major area of interest, as did those that obviously dwelled upon sex! So far as the majority of people using the internet for personal interests were concerned, sex was their overwhelming concern!

Considering the awesome pleasure of the sexual experience, one is, of course, not surprised by such a finding; yet in a way it is a sad commentary upon the destructive choices people are making in the pursuit of that pleasure.

Understanding both the attractiveness yet the serious consequences involved in the sexuality that Yehovaw has given to his children, He has set, through His toraw or law, some strict commandments concerning the conditions under which they are to engage in that marvelous pleasure!

Being the loving Father that Yehovaw is to His children, particularly to His daughters, to whom he has given the sacred task of bearing the children who come from the experiencing of sex, Yehovaw's concern is obviously the care that His sons must exercise to support both their wives and the children whom they bear for them; he said, through Moses:

If a man entice a maid who is not betrothed and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife! (Exodus 22:16)

²⁸If a man find a damsel who is a virgin, who is not betrothed, and lay hold on her and lie with her and they be found, ²⁹then the man who lay with her shall give, unto the damsel's father, fifty shekels of silver! And she shall be his wife! Because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days! (Deuteronomy 22:28 and 29)

Another commandment reveals what Yehovaw considered to be the daily performance of having endowed a woman to be one's wife; Yehovaw said, through Moses:

¹⁰If he take him another wife; her food, her raiment and her duty of marriage shall he not diminish! ¹¹If he do not these three, unto her, then shall she go out free without money! (Exodus 21:10 and 11)

Failure to provide "food", "raiment" and "duty of Marriage" is Yehovaw's ground for a woman to "go out free without money"! (Exodus 21:10 and 11) Whatever value she may be regarded to have had, it is forfeited by the careless husband, who has defaulted in his obligation to care for her; Yehovaw wrote, through His apostle Paul:

²⁵Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, ²⁶that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, ²⁷that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing but that she should be holy and without blemish! (Ephesians 5:25 to 27)

Loving the wife and giving one's self for her is Yehovaw's idea of the husband's "duty of marriage"! (Exodus 21:10) So in Yehovaw's sight the obligation of marriage requires the husband's accommodation of the wife as one who is loving her. (Ephesians 5:25)

At the same time, the wives are to "submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord"! (Ephesians 5:22)

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church! And He is the Savior of the body! (Ephesians 5:23)

Yehovaw told Eve:

Thy desire shall be to thy husband! And he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:16)

One can search Yehovaw's holy scripture and not find any other place where he commands the responsibility that has traditionally become known as "marriage"!

In Yehovaw's toraw or law He does not command a wedding ceremony! His commandments simply require, of the man having lain with the woman, whom he has thus "humbled" (Deuteronomy 22:29), that "he shall surely endow her to be his wife"! (Exodus 22:16)

The Word "endow" is a King James translation of a word meaning "readiness in assent; to bargain (for a wife), that is, to wed"! (Strong: Hebrew: 4117)

"Assent" involves agreement, which involves a covenant or contract!

To "bargain" suggests a commercial transaction, as confirmed by Yehovaw's requirement that the man having lain with a woman pay her father "fifty shekels of silver" (Deuteronomy 22:28), to compensate the father somewhat for the loss of that daughter, upon whom he undoubtedly has placed a great value!

Upholding a covenant or contract is a legal matter, either party being suable in a court of law for his or her failure to perform! So in Yehovaw's sight, marriage is a legal matter, which as made clear through its covenant is binding upon both parties! So the tradition of celebrating it has been far more the spontaneous and joyful choice of Yehovaw's children than than it has been any requirement imposed by Him!

But Yehoshua attended a wedding and in His teaching made reference to the tradition of weddings, the ultimate and most joyful instance of which is where Yehovaw wrote, through Yehoshua, through His faithful apostle John:

⁷Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come! And His wife hath made herself ready! ⁸And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white! For the fine linen is the righteousness of saints! (Revelation 19:7 and 8)

In a spiritual sense one can have sex for ever! "The Marriage of the Lamb" takes place in a spiritual environment - in Yehovaw's "Resurrection of Life" (John 5:29), to be exact; and, if the Lamb's marriage to the children of Israel is in any way inferior to the experience of married people on Earth, I would have to rearrange my entire understanding of the universe! The death of one's body while he or she is righteous is a graduation, for his or her spirit and soul, to something higher and better, not the other way around, which is the case with the wicked!

The home environment of the resurrected saint is Yehovaw's "Holy City, New Jerusalem" (Revelation 21:2), which His faithful apostle John saw in Heaven!

So what is the sexual aspect of the resurrection, which is eternal?

To understand what I am getting at one must ask, What is it about sex that makes it so desirable?

Is it not the consuming passion that culminates in an ecstatic release?

That appears to be an action of the body! But how much of it could be felt without one's spirit and soul, the latter of which comprises the "spirit body" that is one's personal vehicle for dwelling in Yehovaw's spirit realm and which brings with it one's capacity to feel anything but without the limitations and disturbances of His physical realm?

People having returned from "clinical death" are sometimes quite upset over that return, their having tasted of "the real thing"!

The entire universe came from out of a God who is, first of all, "a Spirit"! (John 4:24) Would not that which was eternally the First Condition not be superior in all its qualities and attributes to that which came from it?

The sickest act imaginable is to rape a corpse, which is the body of a person whose spirit and soul have left it behind!

So is not the ecstacy of sex a crude and limited manifestation through our bodies of the glorious spirit within us, which is a manifestation of ha Kodesh Ruakh, Yehovaw's Holy Spirit?

A human spirit and Yehovaw's are within every child of His whose body has died! And, collectively, those children will be the wife of Yehoshua or "the Lamb" (Revelation 19:7), who is the "express image" (Hebrews 1:3) of Yehovaw the Father for the children of Israel!

So One can fully expect that the "the Marriage of the Lamb" (Revelation 19:7) in Heaven will involve an awesome interaction between Yehoshua and His bride, which will far exceed anything that was experienced by Yehovaw's children in any marriage they may have enjoyed on Earth! And whatever that glorious ecstacy will amount to, it will be for ever!

In fact, devout children of Yehovaw, myself included, can attest to feeling, even now, on Earth, a thrill up and down their backs, while worshiping the Lord God Who is ever courting them for that day in Heaven when He will become their Husband!

I have shown that, within the context of Yehovaw's toraw or law, engaging in sex without the man's assuming the responsibility of marriage in behalf of the woman whom he has "humbled" or taken her virginity is sin or that which is contrary to the commandments of His toraw; He wrote, through His faithful apostle:

Sin is the transgression of the law! (1st John 3:4)

So, as much as I understand and appreciate the desperation of so many who are using the internet to find sexual partners or at least pictures of them, my offer to them, for the true fulfillment of that God-given desire, is to enter into Yehovaw's covenant of betrothal to be His wife, in response to which He will bring into their lives attractive and beautiful or handsome partners who will be faithful to them and give them the loving care and consideration that He wants for us while waiting for "the real thing" - His marriage to them in Heaven!

In all such glorious considerations we must keep one critical thing in mind! None of it will be the destiny of any one who does not love Yehovaw and keep or put the highest possible value on the commandments of His toraw or law! And one cannot understand the reason for that requirement without going back, in His Holy Bible, to the account of His dealing with mankind - specifically, with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden!
