As to "Yehovaw's Roles", every one of us is playing some kind of role or part in relation to the people around us; and we also have a role in relation to Yehovaw or in relation to Satan!

Even as one may be, at one and the same time, a father, son and brother or a mother, daughter and sister, so also can one walk as a son or daughter of Yehovaw, whom He loves so much that He regards His grateful children as His wife! He wrote, through His prophet:

I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord! (Jeremiah 31:32)

Yehovaw wrote, through His faithful apostle, of Yehoshua:

As many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on His name! (John 1:12)

Those who do not receive Yehoshua or do not "believe on His name" (John 1:12) Yehovaw sees in a different role; he said, through Yehoshua, to the Jews, who did not so believe:

Ye are of your father, the Devil! And the lusts of your father ye will do! (John 8:44)

Obviously, how Yehovaw treats children who are behaving as His sons and daughters is radically different from how He treats those who are behaving as the sons and daughters of Satan, even though he was not the one who created them.

Yehovaw also plays different roles in relation to His children! Those that I have identified thus far from out of Yehovaw's holy scriptures are His functions as "Creator", "Lord", "King" and "Priest", for each of which I have written a page that can be found on this Vault's Directory of "Topics"!
